Laughter, nerves, excitement, and the familiar buzz that fills the room whenever a new group of learners arrives. This time, we welcomed 40 young men and women beginning their Bricklaying and Plumbing ARPL journey.<br \/>\nSome arrived early, others walked in shyly, a few with confident smiles\u2026 but all of them carried the same hope: to turn their experience into a recognised, respected artisan qualification.<br \/>\nAt Protech Training, we host a lot of inductions throughout the year. Each carrying its own heartbeat. Every group brings a different story, a different struggle, and a different dream. And each time, we\u2019re reminded why we do this work. This induction was no different.<br \/>\nThe excitement of possibility and of embarking on this journey, and the pride of knowing that their skills matter was evident in the attendees. We were inspired by their courage to show up for their dreams. As the facilitators spoke about the ARPL process and what the next few weeks will look like, you could see heads nodding, eyes lighting up, and that quiet shift where confidence begins to take shape.<br \/>\nSo many of these learners have been working with their hands for years. Their skills were built on dusty sites, long days, and real experience and not in a classroom. For them, this qualification represents more than paperwork. It represents growth and the promise of a better future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aligned With South Africa\u2019s National Strategy and G20 Presidency<\/strong><br \/>\nAs South Africa holds the G20 Presidency under the theme \u201cSolidarity, Equity and Sustainability,\u201d we are reminded how deeply our work resonates with national priorities.<br \/>\nSolidarity is reflected in how we bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds. We enable new entrants into trades that build infrastructure, homes and livelihood.<br \/>\nEquality -we champion access, inclusion and dignity, contributing significantly to the goal of \u2018equal opportunity for all\u2019<br \/>\nSustainability -skilled artisans are central to sustainable infrastructure, maintenance housing and built environment. We are building long-term socio-economic well being<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Shared Journey<\/strong><br \/>\nFor us at Protech Training, being part of that journey is an honour.
